TwitchDown served as a service for making quick highlights and downloads for VoDs easy, but with the rise of Twitch Clips, Oddshot, and most recently Twitch's first-party download solution (broadcasters can now download their content from the on-site video manager), there is little use for this service any longer (relative to the server costs associated with keeping it running). As a result, TwitchDown has been officially shut down as of November 1, 2016. Thanks to anyone who used our video downloader in 2016 (LUL). It's been real.
VoDs and Highlights for
You can make 15 minute highlights of any channel's VoDs (not sub-only VoDs). If you logged in with Twitch, you can download up to 3 hour clips of your own VoDs.
